Dr Topal was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1972. Graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1996 as a medical doctor. Working at family business in vaccines and speciality pharma products since 1980s. Currently acting as the General Manager of “Emre Ecza “ and “ Ulduz Chemicals“.

Dr Topal has introduced many reputed vaccine manufacturers to Turkish Market. Topal family companies has delivered over 600.million doses childhood and adult vaccines to Turkish Ministry of Health for EPI. He successfully realized the first technology transfer for full cycle production of recombinant Hepatitis B Vaccine on lab scale.

Currently Emre Ecza has business on vaccines, pharmaceuticals and cold chain monitoring devices in local public and private market.

Dr.O.Mutlu Topal is a Non-Executive Director and shareholder at Vaccicorp Africa and is interested in start-ups especially in healthcare field. He is a licensed angel investor, mentor and founding partner of Reinves Capital which is a local angel investor network (www.reinves.com). Further he is one of the partners of Fonbulucu Invest which is the leading crowdfunding platform in Turkey (www.fonbulucu.com). He is also a member of 10X Health Investment Club which is an international angel investor network (www.10xhealth.club) for investing in health related start-up companies internationally.
